And we're not shying away from the question of why it took Netlight more than 10 years to raise the percentage from 14% to 35% Women. In 2023, The Code Pub marked its 10th anniversary, signifying a decade of being an international network hosting events for women and non-binary individuals in the IT industry. The Code Pub is a network created for women and non-binary who want to learn more about IT, focusing on fostering connections, inspiration, empowerment, and valuable exchanges in a safe space. To celebrate this milestone, we brought together 500 women, students, young professionals, and Netlighters from across Europe in all 11 of our offices. This marked the first time we celebrated The Code Pub on such a scale, simultaneously in Netlight Synchronicity-Style. Lina Hagman, Partner, and Linda Perdomo, Senior Manager, delivered the opening speech of the evening, delving into the history of The Code Pub and sharing personal turning points in their careers at Netlight.
