I am currently a platform engineer, but my background is software engineering. I started out as a fullstack developer with a passion for backend, and especially architecture. Then deploy pipeline challenges triggered my interest for CI/CD, which in case evolved into a critical view on the platform that hosted the applications. And that's where I am now, basking in the unlimited potential of containers, cloud and CI/CD, with just a trickle of monitoring.
